The Nike Book 1 "Ashen Slate" is a colorway of basketball star Devin Booker’s first signature shoe with Nike Basketball that pays homage to his life journey. The “Ashen Slate” features details inspired by Booker’s life, including a barcode on the insole that references his jersey number with the Phoenix Suns and the zip codes of his hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and his NBA home of Phoenix, Arizona. Moreover, his family’s initials are also seen on the underside of the tongue. As for the rest of the shoe, the upper has a Light Carbon, Football Grey, Summit White, and Safety Orange color scheme on its combination of soft textile base and nubuck panels. The “‘96” branding on the heel represents Booker’s birth year. Release date: February 29, 2024
